Kennet Lodge 4414 welcome’s W. Bro Michael Chopping PAGDC,
Assistant District Grand Master of North Island, New Zealand.

W. Bro Michael is in the UK for the first time in 20 years visiting his cousins Keith and David.

W. Bro Michael is also part of the seven man New Zealand contingent in the UK to celebrate the Tercentenary and will be at the Royal Albert Hall on the 31st October 2017, celebrating 300 year of Masonry with the Grand Master, His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent.

Twenty years ago, When W. Bro Keith Copping was in the chair of Kennet Lodge, W. Bro Michael came to the UK and brought with him Kauri timber which has come from trees which can be well over 2000 years old, this timber is native to New Zealand and now days it is protected.

Kennet Lodge ColumnsThe timber was then expertly fashioned by the Late Errol Page, a member of Kennet Lodge, into the two columns which you can see in the picture, the celestial globes which adorn the tops were donated by W. Bro Keith Chopping.
